I am not one of those people that are automatically mistrustful of new concepts in dissident right thought. There are some people out there that are very paranoid of new ways of thinking on the right. They are very quick to shout “controlled opposition!” toward anyone and everything that differs slightly from their world-view. My posture, to steal a term from Chairman Mao, is “let a hundred flowers bloom.” On the right we frequently find those who are eager to practice gatekeeping. Many are very much eager to condemn those who are said to be too radical. The William F. Buckley’s and Rod Dreher’s of the world are much too eager to excommunicate anyone who was in any sense more radical than they. One of the great strengths of the American Left, a very successful movement, was they generally refrained from gatekeeping. Under their system, there is no enemy to the Left. Certain Leftists might refrain from joining organizations they found too radical, but they generally don’t attack other Leftists.
In many other contexts there has been a wonderful flowering of right-wing illiberal thought in the World over the last twenty years and it's a great blessing, I find the European New Right, Duginists, Archeo-Futurists and the followers of Deneens’s Aristopopulism, quite fascinating. If I were to describe myself, I’m a White Nationalist in the mold of 1990’s Third-Positionism with some Paleo-con influences, but I think all the aforementioned tendencies bring something to the table. However, about every single one of them, I have a few quibbles. The important part is, I regard all of them as good faith, well-intentioned actors.
When some people in Silicon Valley two or three years ago started to move to the right, I was largely positive. I don’t either reject or accept those on the right who propose new ideological formulas automatically. The Peter Thiel’s, Curtis Yarvin's and Nick Land’s seemed thoughtful, intelligent people.I held my peace and read and listened.
I have gradually come to the conclusion that the Tech-bros are pretty much cat’s paws for oligarchic billionaires in the computer industry. Yarvin believes that tech oligarchs make the best leaders, I guess because he worked in the industry for years. I don’t see how they do. Who wants some sperged-out computer nerd running the country? Of course, these creeps want HB1 visa people from the Indian subcontinent in huge numbers so they can pay them slave wages. Thiel’s Palantir is basically a CIA operation and we all know how the agency is a Leftist establishment operation.
I was, until quite recently, very positive on J.D. Vance as our next president. He’s too close to Thiel and Yarvin is a close buddy of his. He spent years as Thiel’s employee and is thus, suspect. I was hoping Vance would be a populist-nationalist, but I’m cynical about him now. He was seen recently praying at the “Wailing Wall” in Jerusalem, which makes him a suspected Israel-cuck.
These Tech-bros are determined to take over populist-nationalism and dedicate our government to a Neo-Feudal vision that ‘s actually rougher than Feudalism. The worst thing about them is that they are determined to make almost all working-class jobs obsolete.I’m of working class origins, I can’t spit on my father’s grave. Count me out.
